Built upon a foundation of collaged papers - fragments of images and text-this piece carries a sense of history and thought woven into the surface. Most of the words are partly veiled beneath layers of paint, but one word remains clearly visible, anchoring the composition - creativity.
The palette is dominated by deep navy blue, soft ivory, luminous gold, and warm white. The canvas is visually divided with the top third as a serene creamy ivory expanse, separated from the moody blue below by a rough, smudged black line, textured and imperfect like a blurred boundary between thought and feeling.
