Step into a narrative of high fashion, history, and textured nostalgia with Couture and Contrast. This original 12" x 12" x 2" mixed media artwork merges vintage fashion imagery, retro advertisements, and delicate typographic ephemera with rich layers of paint, stenciling, and ink. Set against a backdrop of muted olive greens, aged sepia, and warm ochre, the piece celebrates elegance, femininity, and visual texture.
The extra deep edges of this cradled wood panel are painted black, a sharp modern contrast to the vintage theme. Protective varnish and wiring have been added, making this piece ready to decorate a dressing room, salon or boutique.
