Elevate your space with a tactile fusion of raw texture and refined shimmer.
This original 10×10” mixed media painting, on gallery-wrapped canvas, sits at the intersection of nature and opulence. Built with thick sculptural layers of acrylics and gritty stucco, the surface features a highly weathered aesthetic, reminiscent of ancient moss-covered stone or oxidized copper. Interspersed throughout the deep greens and muted teals are fragments of metallic gold paint, applied by palette knife, which further enhance the deep texture.
The design and texture continues on the 1.5” deep sides, further emphasizing the sculptural nature of the piece, and eliminating the need for a frame. Wired and ready to hang.
