Modern Pink is a bold and expressive abstract painting that plays with structure and spontaneity. At its core, a loosely defined grid of soft pink, powdery blues and warm beige tones create a sense of quiet order - each block imperfect and blending into the next. Surrounding this framework are thick gestural strokes of paint, their texture rich and almost sculptural.
The composition feels both deliberate and free. Scattered throughout are snippets of custom-designed collage paper - small surprises that break the rhythm. These fragments offer a contrast in pattern and tone, hinting of a deeper meaning beneath the surface.
Textured and loose, Modern Pink is a visual exploration of balance - between chaos and calm, design and instinct.
The gallery-depth edges are painted in a deep olive green, complementing the design. Sealed with protective varnish, wired and ready to hang.
Mixed media on canvas, 8” x 8” x 1.5”
